The services you provide for people living with Parkinson’s, as well as for their carers and families, make a meaningful difference locally, and we are very glad to be able to contribute in a small way to that work.
Imperium FS
Imperium is proud to support Parkinsons Guernsey through our annual corporate padel event, an initiative that reflects our commitment to community wellbeing and the power of sport to bring people together. The cause is also close to the hearts of several members of our team, who have personal connections to Parkinson’s. Supporting the charity is therefore not only something we do as a business, but something that resonates on a personal level for many of our staff.
Each year, financial services firms join us on the court to raise funds that are ringfenced specifically to help people living with early-stage Parkinson’s in Guernsey access padel tennis.
Padel is an inclusive and social sport that can have significant benefits for people with Parkinson’s. The game encourages movement, balance, coordination and quick reactions, all of which can help individuals stay active and maintain confidence in their physical abilities. Just as importantly, the sport provides a supportive environment where players can connect with others, enjoy friendly competition and feel part of a community.
For Imperium, supporting Parkinson’s Guernsey is about more than fundraising. It is about creating opportunities that have a direct and meaningful impact on people’s lives
