It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate six years of Parkinson’s Guernsey, catch up with friends and fellow members, and hear about the latest work being carried out by “Cure Parkinson’s”, the only UK charity solely dedicated to finding a cure.

🎤 The Talk, by Helen Mathews; Cure Parkinson’s CEO and Sophie Priestley; Head of Philanthropy at Cure Parkinson’s, will introduce the focused work of ‘Cure Parkinson’s’ whose sole mission is to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s and provide an overview of the challenges they face in trying to cure Parkinson’s, the charity’s current portfolio of work, and their ambitions for the coming year and beyond.

10.00am: Doors open, with refreshments served

10.30am: Talk by Cure Parkinson’s

After the talk: Birthday cake! The celebration will finish at approximately 12.30pm.

The event is free and open to all, but booking is essential to help us manage numbers, seats – and, of course, make sure we order the right-sized cake!

Parkinson’s Guernsey will also run an information desk during the event, where you can ask any questions, renew your annual membership, or pay for your Christmas lunch by card.
